Hello Friends,
With the recent devastating storms our area has endured over the past two weeks, we here at the Lakewood P.B.A. Local No. 71 had to postpone our community events. We will be rescheduling these events for the very near future. We have already picked a date for the open-air soup kitchen and coat drive. The new date will be Friday December 21, 2012 at noon, at Red Square (next to municipal building). This way we will still be able to help out some of our less fortunate and homeless residents before Christmas. So keep those warm winter coats coming into Police Headquarters, and we will keep you posted on “Hoops For Hunger” and other Storm Relief Projects coming up!
The Lakewood Police P.B.A. Local No. 71 is now holding our annual “Holiday Toy Drive” event. We’re asking our friends to bring in an unwrapped toy for girls and boys ages 1 month to 15 years old. You can drop your unwrapped gift in the box located at the Watch Commanders office @
231 Third Street, Lakewood.
All items can be dropped off here until December 21st.
Any questions please call 732-364-0071.
As always, we thank you for all your help, and continued support! Happy Holidays!!!
