The Lakewood P.B.A. Local No. 71 would like to thank everyone for your continued support for our fallen Brother Chris Matlosz over the past 13 months. We would also like to thank everyone that were able to come out yesterday to the Ocean County Court House to stand strong with us in a show of support, during the sentencing for the low-life that took Brother Chris’ life! As we close this chapter and move forward into the healing process, we again can not thank you all enough for your continued support!

A 20-year-old New Jersey man convicted of killing a Lakewood police officer has been sentenced to life in prison. Jahmell Crockam appeared before a judge in Ocean County on Thursday. On March 22nd at 9am, convicted murderer Jahmell Crockam will be sentenced for killing our Brother, Lakewood Police Officer Chris Matlosz. The Lakewood P.B.A. Local No. 71 are asking our brothers and sisters in blue to come out to the Ocean County Court House in Toms River to show support for our fallen brother. Wear your P.B.A. or Police gear to help show your support!
